Thank you for sharing that essay. My son and I saw the wardrobe at Wheaton twenty-four years ago. We were there for a visit as he considered going there for his undergraduate degree. I spotted it first and when I pointed it out to him, his jaw dropped and his eyes misted. It's one of those incredibly memorable moments that life sometimes brings.

Brilliant! I admire this kind of writing--my own meager poetic attempts can only hope to echo such softly. You've introduced me to so many wonderful writers and poets.
