Oohh, my first cEDH commander :p I built 2 decks before Prossh- Marath, Will of the Wild and Omnath, Locus of Mana. After about 2 years of playing with VERY budgeted decks prioritizing cards in my own existing collection, I started intentionally buying cards for my first ever deck that I wanted to REALLY improve on. Some of the very first cards I got were Food Chain, Purphoros, Fecundity, Blood Artist, Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Mana Vault, Grave Pact, Greater Good, Ashnod's Altar, Tooth and Nail, Craterhoof Behemoth, and Avenger of Zendikar. There were plenty of other sacrifice outlets and cards that netted card advantage for sacrificing creatures as well, but this deck was honestly one of the first i had ever assembled with the intent to tell my blue-playing pod members to "go fuck themselves" because i was so damn tired of being Cyclonic Rifted every damn game and the best way to prevent that from happening was to just "win first".

Will say Vicious shadows makes short work of people when the kobolds get fed to the hungry dragon. Certainly, a deck I miss and would likely rebuild, but currently the Jund'ing comes in the form of Sek'Kuar Deathkeeper and his cult of goblin zealots. Hidden tech for anyone who wants to play the aristocrats build of prosh. Smothering Abomination is probably Prosh's best friend because you get to draw so many cards when you start sacrificing your kobolds to your altars you can pivot into a combo kill once you've generated enough mana through looping sacrifices and recasting Prosh with cards like Fireball, altar of the brood for mill, Nadir's Nightblade for more damage, Ect. Also check out a card called Shivin Harvest where you too can commit war crimes and nuke a whole board of non-basic lands with your kobalds for a low investment of 2 mana and a creature per land after an inital 2 mana cast.
@athensByNight11611 ай бұрын
actually the funniest thing is that you can build him cheap and just add foodchain. if you build the deck correctly and you add a lot of ways to draw and tutor the card (you are in black even in budget that is possible) then the changes gears completely. you can have the rest of the deck cost 60$ and a simply foodchain will make it an unstoppable force. honestly, because I love ghave but my favorite color is red, I want to do exactly that.
