Maaan I really miss working at WildEarth, it was around this time as well. I was there long enough to get to visit Sabi Sands and on one of our evening drives for some dumb reason my foot was hanging out the car as this HUGE male leopard walked by 30-60 cm away, 😂😂 I was sat there thinking I can’t move suddenly, just started whispering to Trish “IS THIS OKAY?😭😭” . Turns out it was okay and he didn’t even sniff my shoe or anything(I think my foot was hanging out because the camera man was a big lad and we were filming😅😂) I 100% have the footage on my Google backups even though it was filmed with a potato For a guy who loves computers and animals Broadcast Engineer here was theee dream job❤

Watch Lions from Namibia part 2. There is a story about contact between lioness and leopard. Both died. We don't know how they died but narrator said that probably was fight between them (there were only rocks no trees so leopard had no choice and had to fight). Probably lioness got serious injuries and was killed and ate by hyenas finally. Lioness wasn't sick , old or injuried before.

@mtman2Ай бұрын
@@Asanda82 Actual yes against 4 lioness's and left unscathed but all 4 lioness's were bleeding you have a lot to learn: This one hers was a prime very large male leopard one lioness would have no chance and not dumb enuff to tackle him alone-[or get ripped up]; & why there were 5 Lioness's here chasing it in thick brush where he could get side ambushed not see it coming...! Some times a male Leopard that size & likely the dominant one this Leopard was afraid of = will walk right by an entire pride in the open and they will stay where they are for both party's know it's not worth a fight..! Young inexperiened or smaller female Leopards = Lion prides catch and kill, tho Leopards are twice as fast and deadly killers then a lone Lioness...! Lions, like dogs and wolves hunt best in packs. There were two lionesses, the leopard did not hang around to see if there were more than two. Can I male leopard hold his own against one female lioness? I don’t know. And for reasons stated above, leopards don’t usually have one on one fights with any lions. The leopard correctly judged he was out of his league with two lionesses on the ground. And the two lionesses correctly judged they would be out of their league if they had attacked up the tree. I’ll take their word for it.
