Do you think we will ever see Dreamer and Chompy split up, or will Dreamer be ride or die, even if he finds out Chompy's true nature?

In one of Hamelin's stories, Hamelin describes Nytemare as a slave to a child. I believe Chompy is stuck in the dream world as a prison and relies on the child to get out. We know that the tyrants were weakened and imprisoned by their own powers, in this case, dreams. Without the child I believe he is stuck and unable to escape. He needs the child.

@@Hrogoff He is indeed trapped in the dream lands without the Dreamer. In the Serena Bowman story Chompy states that his physical appearance and voice aren't actually his own, they are what the Dreamer believes he should look and sound like. Chompy marks Serena's soul as a backup, so if Dreamer does die then he can use Serena as a way to enter the reality of Malifaux.

@@Hrogoff Yeah, it seems like he is stuck in the dream world without the Child. but other Tyrants have taken hosts that let them roam free, it is unclear if he could do the same. Perhaps he needs or wants to take a host who has some control over the dream world. and thats why he's so fixated on Dreamer and Bowman like ​ @Raincoat mentioned

@@Hrogoff I think they are referring to Serena Bowman's character entry in the Neverborn rulebook, not a regular story.

I originally started with m1e LJ box but then quickly switched to Dreamer. Played him solo throughout m2e and started m3e with him. He was amazing until the nerf hit him really hard though he can still hold his ground. I only missed the Serena bowman bit here as there seems to be some kind of infatuation towards her that can be meaningful in the big picture view. Nonetheless, amazing work as always. Thank you and keep it up !

Yeah, I usually stick to covering just the narrative where the specific Master appears, since just reading off every entry for their crews would be kind of boring. That said, a few people have mentioned Serena, so maybe I should have brought her up
