Any particular reason no one at the table caught the deliverate mana cheating during the start of the food chain combo? Anyone who plays food chain knows it exiles for only a mana of a single color with each activation.... When misthollow is first cast from exile there is 1 floating mana (color is not specified but there is only 1 of it). then misthollow is exiled for 5 white (we know it is 5 white because of the next game action) grand abolisher is cast for 2 white (only way you have 2 white is if the mishollow white exiled for white) At this point there are 3 white & 1 unknown color floating meaning you cannot recast misthollow from exile as it requires 2 blue pips which are not present.

I think God Pharaoh Statue would have been a better target for Magda, would stop saw in half combo, slow down Godo and block Food Chain combo. Null Rod is good, but with Food Chain presenting a win on the turn I dont think it was the best.

I don't think Statue would have stopped Godo from Winning since once Godo Resolves there is no casting left but in the end an abrade is an abrade.

@@VeilofDeathMTG yeah, but dockside costing 4 and godo costing 8 would make it not possible to combo that turn. And if he cant combo he will not target statue, knowing statue stops Food Chain.
