The way this film went from a standard if well-directed modern horror flick in the first two thirds, to this insane X-men meets Matrix Reloaded slaughterfest in the final third took me instantly from 5/10 to 10/10. Honestly, Gabe here seems more supernatural because he can make bulbs and electricity violently combust/discharge and we only see that electronics going nuts when a being from a higher plain of existence is in the area, this happens because of the energy the entity produces is like a more aggressive version of an EMP.
