The differences between the albums is Take Care is hella relatable and that’s why it’s so great. Good Kid Mad City is great because it’s a great story. Also this goes with the artists, Kendrick has always been a story teller, Drake has always been the one you relate to for what he raps and sings about. It depends on what type of rap you like, if you like to hear how someone went through the same thing you went through then Drake is your artist and if you like to hear of someone’s past or present situations that make up for a story and want to learn from someone’s mistakes then Kendrick is your artist.

I feel like both Take Care and GKMC solidified each artists in the game as actual competition, however, you can pick apart drakes album and still feel all the vibes and go on with your day, BUT if you want all of the GKMC feels the album has to offer, you have to listen to the whole album. Both are ICONIC but it’s really a matter of opinion.

I love how GKMC is non-linear but you can still keep track of the timeline while you're listening to the album. But, trying to put it into chronological is kinda hard to explain. It's so good.
