@ hey brother, I’ve been having a few people asking the same question. Yes, it will still be helpful since I mainly focus on the software side and the internal workflow. The only difference is going to be the layout. Before purchasing go over the chapters and modules so you could have a better look at what it is that a cover. The software between all of these machines are identical. You’re just gonna have a big advantage with the extra output that your ex has and also them amazing Q links. I’m hoping to get that NPCX very soon.

Been playing around with MPC3 and I love it. Specifically, I love how the workflow now actually FLOWS and the new main page is a huge part of that. It's now so easy to get from where you are to where you want to go next, and just has an intuition to it where it's actually just fun to tinker around with. It was always powerful, but now it's *fun* Can't wait to see where it goes from here

Aha! Thanks so much. I been haveing trouble using multiple drum trcks. With this tut,i learned to put all my samples on one track with the extra banks. Idk if its a glitch,but i all my chops bounce to all the same pads on all “drum tracks” theres more than one drum track.

* the channel mixer doesn't show all the pgms, just the pgm you're on * Can't adjust the top loop bar in grid mode. * If you make a beat on sequence 1 and then go to the next blank sequence, it has all the tracks you created previously. So you can’t start with a blank slate. And if you delete those tracks, they are also deleted from sequence 1. I like to make multiple Beats in one project. Sometimes I flip the same sample a different way or just make a completely new track. I need a blank canvas each time

Nice vid. I really don’t love how dark everything looks. In honest, I miss the old UI- felt cleaner. I like the new changes, just wish they would have kept the old scheme/color format. Would be great if they could provide a Dark/Light option in settings in a future update

I would get familiar with 3.0 instead if youre still learning. There will come a time when 2.0 won't exist anymore and if you want to stay on 2.0 you'll be living in the past and it won't be updated with new features anymore.

Doesn't matter, they all do exactly the same, the standalone mpc's I mean, except the mpc live 2, which does what all the others mpc's can't do, me myself, I own the mpc live 2 with the built-in batteries and speakers and I can make beats without having to connect to anything, the mpc live 2 is for me the true standalone mpc out of them all, because the rest of them requires a power cord and a sound source (headphones or studio monitors) for them to work as a standalone mpc, while the live 2 does it all without a power cord and a sound source.💯

Its still in beta. And definitely some bugs still.i night try this workaround.but hopefully they fix the programs problem soon. The drum tracks get all mashed together if u use more than one. You have to separate all your sounds into the other banks,on one drum track. 2 drumtracks will just duplicate the original drum track and mess everything up.luckily you can undo.but its a mess.
