Went in 2008, lovely place, stayed at Naxxer in a cheap apartment, nothing special but wasn't bothered about accommodation as wanted to spend more time out and about. The Mosta Dome is incredible.

Yeah I did the same! stayed in super cheap Accomadation but spent all day out exploring around! love this little country!

It was lovely compared to Uk! Was like 12-14 degrees and sunny apart from the one day where it rained a bit. By March I’m sure it would have warmed up a lot and be worth while visiting 😊

Is it true that you have to wear a mask everywhere in malta even outside?

No not to my knowledge haha, a lot of people weren't wearing their masks, however they only accept vaccine passes that are less than three months old when trying to enter restaurants and bars and even though I was double vaccinated I was turned away so many times because it was older than three months, so just bear that in mind! :)
