40-8-1 now following your builds. This is the exact build I always play on Malthael so no practice games on this one. I think had times where I was playing really well and times where I was playing badly. I did well in the solo lane and at burning the eternal but team fights I tended to lose track of myself and over extended as a result. I hope you have an awesome build for the next hero because I am awful with him.

A tip for Math:. Play him like a melee tracer, genji, or illidan. Dip in, do damage, and dive out.

Might be late but for maltheal there is a way to play him that makes him a lot better when you don't have the team setup. A pale horse, makes him quick to get anywhere on the map and if you can apply loads of pressure because of his ability to take camps really well with hanamura and braxis being his worst maps with this setup. Taking the q talents, helps a lot mainly the slow if outnumbered, but low key memento Mori, is pretty good as it helps elongated engagements which is often where malth gets hurt from when his team can suppurt him. Is it great not really but can help in the long haul. Honestly maltheal is in need of a talent rework with memento Mori being added baseline with his teleport being an aoe hit, these talents are really not great at their levels but are so crucial for his effectiveness it hurts. But again if your aren't in a team that does team fighting take the traits that will let you pressure the board get exp and push things out.

Great job, Pally! I tried really hard to learn Malthael, but I had all the same struggles you mentioned. I only play QM too and it was just masochistic to play Malth. Every game I played him it seemed like I was up against 4 range assassins and a healer. I recall the last time I played him I was against a Junkrat, Valla, Nova, Raynor, and Whitemane. On the first objective my LiLi asked why my damage was so low. It felt bad.

I really wish they would completely re-do his kit and upgrades. He feels old and something made from generations ago. I mean, looking at his 3rd ability which is just to apply the passive at a longer range, it's useless without any upgrades. I love his tank shredding capability, but all his current stuff once again feels outdated to me compared to the shiny unique things that are on valla or yrel

Can PT make a video on why anyone who’s left the game should give it a try again? There was a large exodus when blizz stopped supporting professional play and announced HOTS was just going on life support indefinitely. To make Tormented Souls viable, either make it 30 second cd so it can be used at every engagement or have it grant 10 armor per hero marked (nerfing down from that if needed) capping at 50 (clones/misha would just make it easier to get value).
