if a god is going to do something to help, why did the god let it get in the road in the first place? and why didn't it help the animals that don't make it out of the road? if the deer got smashed with a car, which they often do, do you curse the god or thank the god then? really, a deer got in the road, and a driver was nice enough and alert enough to not hit it. no deity required.

Sometimes that can cause more harm than good. The deer could've panicked. I'm sure if it hadn't gone as well as it did, the driver would've helped.. Take good care!😊

I have noticed with deer that a doe frequently runs off to safety, sometimes leaping a fence, leaving her young one unable to follow. In my yard once, doe leapt fence to get away from me & left her fawn unable to follow. The fawn was there for 3 days, waiting. Mum did come back - eventually.

If you see this with animals, please turn your lights off or at least off high beam. It stuns them. This new fawn was likely dropping to the ground partly as a safety response. I learnt this myself with a number of incidents, driving a lot in rural areas. I also jog at night, and get stunned myself by it (even when against law to have high beam with a pedestrian). High beam , in particular, is what causes a lot animal fatality. I hope this can become more common knowledge.

Not sure what you are asking but it's not safe to get out and get hit yourself. Chances are good that giving the deer a minute to move on is the best option. If another car came, it should notice the car stopped and slow or stop also. ❤
