The reason I said grizzly not gorilla,lion, crock, ect. is because where I am from (the deep south, USA) that's just a term we use when describing a highly protective mother. It's not an insult to any other species. Just a well known term in this part of the country and the country as a whole for the most part.

​@@cyrusjulian187 Just because we did not see it doesn't mean it did not happen. Genki's situation was different. Her 1st baby, Gentaro, was taken from her for almost 11 months. Her 2nd, Kintaro was removed for 2 to 3 weeks for the same reason, poor milk production. Genki was almost overprotective. There are videos of her putting Kintaro on the ground and pushing him away. He wobbled off and has not been still sense.

Zoos are important when it comes to endangered species. Where do you think think the money comes from to sustain the animals and begin breeding programs to restore their numbers in the wild? If you love animals that much you wouldn't be attacking these people as if they are guilty of a crime and learn to compromise a solution to save animals from extinction. Why such pessimism? Why even think about that when, if you look again, you’ll see the baby is taking a big yawn and shows no signs of stress or rejection that you are projecting on him. Mom’s there only a few feet away. She’s giving her baby a goal ( herself) to crawl to. If you’ve been rejected or abandoned at a young age, this may be your own stress response getting recycled and Super-imposing itself on a scenario that brings up the memory, like this video. If you follow me and are open to an alternative explanation. This is Exactly what happens with PTSD. But you’re not in danger now and neither is the little gorilla. You’re a strong and loving person, a survivor, and you can find a way to an even better life with guidance and spiritual practice. Try to quiet your mind. You have a big heart, use it to focus and silence your mind by breathing in the word Kindness (as all the kindness that exists in the world) and breathing out or sending out Love. Kindness creates love. Maybe that can be your mantra as you learn to meditate. Find a teacher and/or a shrink. Your life can and will get better. All the best!
