Adrienne's mum sounds like a great mum. A parent really needs to be able to identify the individual qualities in each of their children and be able to nurture those qualities. God created us differently so that He could use us for His glory differently

Some parents don't know how damaging that is to their children when they don't recognize their own individual qualities. My mom does that she always tries to compare us to each other and have us compete against each other but thank God I knew better than try to compete with my sister and now whenever she tries to compare us I just stop her in tracks cause I love my sister and we are simply different.

Tamera always brings up the 'individuality' thing -_-... Growing up She must've had a tough time as an identical twin
@JJselenator4ever9 жыл бұрын
+Dana N she really did because like Ben in the previous episodes she has said how people said Tia was the hot,sexy one and how she was the cute,goofy one and that's never nice to hear when you're a teenager and growing up as a child actress like damn.. But Tamera is actually beautiful inside and outside and I love her omg💕💕💕 #SheIsGoals

@lexi2199 жыл бұрын
Dana N It was probably made a thousand times worse by the fact that they were famous twins though. Ever since she was a teenager, she probably had strangers always calling her "Tia and Tamera" instead of by her individual name. I remember hearing the Olsen twins talk about that a few years ago - how strangers/fans would almost never call them by their individual names, even when they were out by themselves. People would just call one of them "Mary Kate and Ashley" instead of asking which one they were. I don't know about you, but that would drive me INSANE.

i always get a little sad hearing about people having such a great relationship with their mom because i never had that...my mom didn't like me much. but i always wished I would have had that motherly figure. she's dead now though, but at least I know how important it is now for me to be a great mom to my future kids.

I think the same thing when I hear these girls. Or how much admiration they have for their mothers. I was confused as to why my mother could be so mean sometimes and purposely want to hurt my feelings. But now that I’m 30, I realized she had a rough up bringing and affected her, I actually feel bad for her. So I forgave her, i distanced myself first from her, now show her all love. She’s come around a lil bit.

Yaasss Tamera's back, it's weird not having them all there. I see Tamera brings up the individual thing a lot and tbh I kinda get it.When you're a twin people always group you and your twin and sometimes it's completely unintentional it's hard to be an individual when people always look at you as a package deal, like you're not that important when it's just you.

Adrienne's momma🙌You gotta love a mother that loves her children just the way they are....that's important...There are parents that would let their kids be anything but themselves which is pretty sad😞😐😓

I think its smart to get parenting advice from your parents, but to be honest, when your time comes you're going to do what's best for you and and your partner. You can't raise them the exact same way as you parents raised you because NEWS FLASH!! TIMES HAVE CHANGED. You need to train and prepare these children to face things that maybe didn't exist when you were young. They need to be protected but they need to learn how to protect themselves. Be loving, be supportive, be wise and be smart. CHILDREN ARE LIKE SPONGES, THERE WILL COME A TIME WHEN THEY LIVE WHAT THEY LEARN!

My mother was just like Adrienne's mom when it came to school. Whenever the teachers would try to talk bad about me to my Mom, she would say good things about me instead! This made the teachers look at me differently and the principal stopped asking me and my Mom to "come down to the office" lmao

My older sisters were much more calmer, quieter and well behaved than me in school and at home, which meant some people would often get a lot of comparisons with people asking me why I can't be like them BUT my mum understood me and we just laugh when teachers or aunties n uncles call me wild/crazy cus she understands that's who I am lol.
