Momma Sue. Everything but celery seed, real chopped celery stalks I prefer. I always put more celery seeds in my recipes and I've actually ruined my food 🥺, I add everything else! God bless 🙏🏼. ❣️😇😇

I loved my mother in law’s potato salad. It was russet potatoes, onion, celery, mayonnaise, and hotdog relish. Then you seasoned to taste with salt and pepper.

Grandmother's potato salad is very much like the potato salad my mom made. I make it too, with sweet pickle relish and hardboiled eggs. It is the best!

Looks delicious! If you chopped the onion after the egg, I think it would help push the remaining egg through. Then I think the remaining onion could come out with a knife more easily than the egg. 🙂

Also mom would put stuff to mayo jar and shake jar to mix dressing , then potatoes don't get mashed up and gets all mayo out of jar.

Maybe chop the eggs first in the chopper and the onions will push the egg remnants out of the chopper

A clean toothbrush will clean your chopper! I keep one in the kitchen just for that!

My mom put vinegar in it, no alot do but without not as good . Plus, I don't like it made dry, they don't put in enough dressing.

If your potatoes are still warm, it will soak up the dressing. You'll have to add more dressing to make it not dry.

Sweet salad cubes! Use your brush that came with your chopper, Don't use a fork it doesn't work!!

You can’t beat good potato salad!!! I’ve always used sweet pickles (and juice😊) in mine. One time I got some at a church potluck that looked really good. Well, it was made with dill pickles! Oh, my! I just sort of cringed. It has to be sweet pickles, in my opinion!!
