This video includes a couple tours we took as part of a 13 Day 4650 mile cross country road trip we took in May-June 2022. These tours were on June 3-4, 2022.
This video highlights our visit to Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky. We were able to get tickets to go on the Grand Avenue Tour and the Extended Historic Tour. We did one tour each day during the 2 days we visited the park. Mammoth Cave is the longest cave system in the world and we were able to tour over 6 miles of the cave with these two tours. It was impressive! Enjoy!

Thank you. This was part of our summer trip back East. I have my videos out of order of when they happened. A few more videos and I'll be caught up with present day. Yay! I was impressed at the enormity of this cave system. Longest in the world and rightly so. So big. Glad you enjoyed the tours. Have a great day.

That is an awesome cave. When you showed the map of it my jaw dropped. I love the lights they used to make it more mysterious. Fat man's misery looked fun to go through, now that I am less fat. Great tour, Steve!

Amazing caves ! Never been in a cave in all my life …wonder how I would react 😳 They are very long caves looks like you spend a few hours underground . Thanks Serge. This cave was pretty awesome being the longest in cave system in the world. We were underground for 6 and a half hours and over 5 miles. It was pretty awesome to see. Most people would be ok going on a cave tour. However, exploring one primitively I don't believe I would like it. Glad you enjoyed the adventurous tour. Have a wonderful day.

Hi, Packs-a-lot.Thank you for sharing. Wow...this is a cool place, a Mammoth cave I have never been to, but just "Lost Sea" and "Ruby Falls." It's always hard to film in dark places..but yo nailed it. The rock formations are incredible, aren't they? Mother nature has the power to create such unique shapes... I like the history of "mining and gunpowder making" ..9:16 The scale of the cave is amazing.. What's the beautiful image...14:55...nice green scenery..Of course, the train toward the end is fabulous. Is that a steam locomotive? Well done. You must have had a good full-day workout in the cave. 🥰🍁 Kayak7seas and I just got back from filming at the Atlantic sea and now catching up on your vid...sorry for the delay in commenting.

Sounds like it's a really busy place. I don't like busy. Over 1k stairs? You guys ARE crazy! I knew it!! 😂. Four hours is a really long tour. Sounds like you'll get your money's worth. Yup that's a lot of peep. I saw J. Parr's name on the wall. Wonder if that's John Parr that sang the theme song for St. Elmo's Fire movie? Hmmm lol. The slots are neat. I like caves, but I also don't like them. They freak me out. Kind of like tunnels. Afraid they'll collapse and I'll be trapped. But they sure are neat and pretty. It is a cool cave. I dunno. Maybe one day we'll give it a go. I don't know how I feel about any part of a cave being call misery lol. Haha I was wondering if she was going to tell you. Guess she finally did. Too darn deep! That's scary as crap! Boy those people sound really loud. Should have told them to use their inside cave voices lol. Pretty darn cool tour. See, now I don't even need to go. I got to see you do it! lol

Thanks Felix. Yes, this place was pretty busy but they had a ton of tours to choose from which helped disperse the crowds. 4 hours underground for 4 miles is a long time to be in the ground. It was super cool to see the old names in the cave. It is awesome that this is the longest cave system in the world. I don't like the sound of misery either while underground. Yikes. Glad nothing caved in on us or we didn't run out of air. The tours were super awesome but I would maybe just do the second one, History tour extended. Lots to see in half the distance of the other tour. Glad we could take the trip down there for you. LOL. Have a wonderful day.
