As a single adult with no kids, Aventura really works for me. I love the more modern, tech forward theming. The layout is great in that I don't have to walk for days to get to my room after a long day at the park or an OI event. The food has always been great, the service is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and I love having access to the walking path and boats to the park. I would highly recommend this to anyone going to Universal on a budget but wanting to be closer to the parks than with the Endless Summer resorts.

Have stayed here twice and really loved it. The foodcourt food is really good quality, the tower design makes getting up and going easy and the short walk to Sapphire Falls boat taxis makes it practically Adventura’s boats too (it’s shorter than walking between some buildings at Cabana Bay!). Also it bears repeating every Universal Resort allows guests staying at any other to get an amenity pass from concierge which is so wonderful and definitely not offered by Disney. I stayed at Adventura but had pool days at SF and Portofino Bay that were lovely. The poolside food service could still be charged to my Adventura room.

I love these two. Adore them. But God Floridians annoy me using the word cold and freezing when it's 60. Freezing literally has a temp. It's 32. 32 degrees below 64. Objectively 64 is not, can not ever be cold.

OK, Pro Tip. We fly in late afternoon and stay at Aventura the first night as it's inexpensive. The next morning we move to Royal Pacific or Hard Rock to get the Express Passes. Save a couple of hundred dollars.

It's a short walk with our backpacks between hotels. And you can check in early the following morning at a premium hotel and drop your bags to use the park Express passes the next day.

We did this the day before they were there. Then we walked our luggage across the road to sapphire falls for the OI Meetup. The food at Adventura’s quick service is fantastic! Get the ramen!

I just saw another vlogger that recently stayed on the 16th floor and said he and his wife heard no laughter, music, or noise from the rooftop bar! And they stayed there over a week.🤷🏻‍♀️ He did mention the noisy elevator, though.

I love Aventura!! First Universal Hotel I ever stayed at, and it was so incredible! Loved the pricing and the Garden Walk! One of the coolest things I saw at Aventura was during my stay last October. On HHN nights, they had a pop up food stand in the lobby selling pizzas and other pre made food and snacks for people coming in late at night. I’m talking like 1 and 2 AM. I thought it was such a cool addition!

Thanks for this! I love Aventura! Stay 4 to 5 times per year. I appreciate the small footprint after a full park day as the quiet and relaxing vibes are my jam. The water taxi and other amenities over at Sapphire make these sister resorts with the best of both combined to enjoy. Plus Volcano has its own walking path from Aventura. Best ❤

Pro tip. Aventura guest can also use the pools at Sapphire. Show your room key at concierge and they will give you a key card to use the Aventura pools.

The roof top is also amazing for seeing spacex launches. :) Also, fyi this is a plug, if you’re going to studios anytime soon stop by Lombards landing we have a new menu with a new sword fish catch of the day. A crab cake served on a Calabrian chili aioli. Also a new take on the tuna poke and new take on the cioppino ocean bowl. You guys should definitely do portofino bay the opera at sunset and Christmas tree In the piazza is amazing especially with drinks at the thirsty fish bar. We love the channel and hope you guys have a great holiday season!

I must be old. It took me a day to figure out that everything was controlled by the pad. Wish I had seen this video earlier! Still, I couldn’t help thinking it would have been faster and easier to have a regular switch or remote! If you walk to the parks, the marked path is longer and hotter than cutting through the hotel as if going to the boat.

I tried the hotel for the first time last november and i've got mixed feelings on it. -I had a deluxe room. Hands down the best room i've had within the universal resorts that I tried (vs surfside, dockside, cabana bay, sapphire falls). The view is just incredible, you guys should review one of these some day!!! -Relay robot, awesome!! Would be great if they were doing pizza delivery, omg!! -Great food and I rarely see this mentioned but the way you order is great. They give you this wifi connected 'thing', a bit bigger than a phone and it will buzz when the food is ready so you don't have to lineup and wait. Genius!!! -Proximity to sapphire falls -Price (when you find good AP rates) Unfortunately, there were a few deal breakers for me -Every other day room service (ya'll only stayed one night so it didn't affect you on that stay). --To me this is really important as whenever you get back from the parks, it is just great to have a cleaned up room and just be ready to relax. Not gonna happen 1/2 of the time at Aventura. Make sure you don't sleep in the day they do actually have room service. -The vibes does not feel vacation'y . Might be good for the locals but if you fly or do long distance driving and you stay for a proper week long vacation, this is not the vibe. The vibes are more like an upscale business hotel. Actually, the days that I was there, there must've been some convention because everyone was wearing their lanyards and there were some ppl in suits and all. Proximity to sapphire falls compensate a bit but still, just dockside for a fraction of the price gives me more chill vibes. -If you like some quiet, be careful of getting a room by the road, on the side overlooking cabana bay. Regular traffic noise is fine, but modded cars, you very clearly hear those that want to be heard. Next time i'll request a room overlooking sapphire falls instead, could probably fix this issue. The pain with this hotel is that they did so many things right! If only..

The proximity is really good. It is good for hotel hopping, it is good for using water taxi, it is good for accessing the other restaurants, it is good for walking to Wantilan Luau at Royal Pacific, and you can still walk to the parks.

I stayed her for HHN last year and it was great! The unique design makes it so everything is nearby. The elevators can get a bit busy especially around dinner time but just have to be patient. Having a Starbucks downstairs was a bit dangerous lol. But having the rooftop restaurant in the hotel I was staying at was such a cool perk and great view!! I definitely would recommend it for the price point. (And I loved my bowl that I got at the Wok station. I randomly think about it and crave it lol.)

The wheelchair accessibility was okay, but I had some issues with the Electra HD7. I didn’t like the angled turn into the bathroom and would have preferred a straight-on entrance. The water pressure was excellent, the beds were super comfortable, and the room temperature was outstanding. The food was amazing, and pool time was enjoyable, but I wish the pool had a ramp with grab bars for access instead of a chairlift. ps you need the pizza its so good

quick extra tip, we were just there first week of December and Volcano Bay was closed pretty much whole time due to the cold, but we had 3-way park tickets so never got to go. I went to CS and got them to send me 12 anytime use tickets for VB . we are a family of 6 of that's 2 free days of tickets for next we go for just complaining and taking 20 min to ask.

I'd love to stay here, but I always end up at Surfside since it is so much cheaper and I'm barely in the room. I stayed at Surfside last week for five nights for $74/night with my passholder discount. I've never spent more than $100/night there but I've never seen Aventura under $100. It's a beautiful hotel though!

The Wave Hotel in Lake Nona is farther from the parks, but I absolutely love it because of the area and how modern the hotel is. Maybe you can review it.

We stayed for OI in November at the Aventura and really liked it. Only thing that could be better was the food. Almost no vegan options and all we had was mediocre. But I would stay there again because it was so close to the parks and overall a good experience.

We stayed here when they first opened. My wife didnt have her keycard when we checked in. She takes forever to move and got stuck in the elevator. Also the Ac unit was very loud. other then that, i loved the stay.

$60 dollars less than Pop Century... big win Universal. We did a family suite here once & they are super unique. There is a wall of glass that is floor to ceiling & the room is curved. Don't see too many reviews for it.
