For Pete's sake, tell us what you do with all that cake every week! Is it just the bottom layer that's cake? the others are fake? Are your neighbors and your staff starting to ask you not to bring cake over they're gaining too much weight? Are you donating to the local mission/shelter? Please!

Hi all! There have been lots of questions on fondant vs. modeling chocolate. Here's what Joshua says: "I used modeling chocolate because it was an "epic" chocolate cake ; ) Fondant would work as well." And, to the questions on coating chocolate: "There are not really types of coating chocolate; just brands. Coating chocolate doesn't have cocoa butter but a different kind of fat that melts at a higher temperature. The one I used is coating chocolate with non hydrogenated fat from a company called Master Martini." Keep posting your questions!

Joshua, I love your show! Early this summer we had 3 of our oldest grandchildren visiting us(7,5,&3). I don't remember how I came across your show but all 3 kids became enamored with you and the"guys you can't see". So we would watch your show during dinner. We would stop and discuss the show as they thought of questions. Thank you for being a cool roll model for my grandsons and granddaughter!

I like that you showed the process to the finished product and cutting it open. Would be great to get a longer clip of the inside? OH and do you feel for stacking cakes the recipe for the cake needs to be different to that of a one layer cake? Thanks. Great humour :D

Love this video!!! Josh is a great teacher and entertaining to watch. I have bought his Craftsy classes and will be tuning in for this series. Josh, if you are reading this, I would love to know if the layer of modeling chocolate is really necessary since you don't need a flawless surface. Couldn't you just paint the coating chocolate onto the chilled ganache? Or would it not hold up as well? Thanks.

I can't believe there is someone else out there like me who LOVES cake. Cake is by far the best food on the planet. And what a variety. Personally, I believe that if everyone had cake, there would be no war --- because they would either be eating the cake, getting fat from the cake (so military can't fit into jets or whatnot), sleeping from the "I'm so full I need a nap" syndrome, or telling others of great flavors of cake. Personally, i don't think anyone can be sad when eating cake.
