To be fair 13th century england was not very "racist" in the way we might imagine today. Religion played a much bigger role in the middle ages than race, so if he acted like a catholic things might not be that bad (he would be seen as different and exotic though, that is certain). Race starts to be more of a factor in the 15th century with the great navigations and the begining of the slave trade.

Yeah, it's easy to watch some of these 10 minute recaps. But this movie wasn't good over 95 minutes long. The jokes were kind of lazy and cheap. People had no interest to see Martin in this and continued his downslide in popularity at this time.

A lot of people don't seem to realize this was an adaptation of A Connecticut Yankee in Sir Arthur's Court by Mark Twain. If you liked the movie there is a really good reading of it by "Ron Swanson" on audible. The movie is good for what it is, but the book was amazing.

Some of these movies can make someone insane, time travel is real , I live in Botswana and my story is that three of us as young men 27 years ago passed through a city, but it looked modern, it was only after the next day that we learnt that there has never been a city in that area, it was just the vast chobe national park

They also got entertainment like poem, story, actor.. Sometime they involve in war, just same like today.. Most of the time, they are trader, farmer, craftsman and so on..

Going by his appearance? It would be interesting. English slavers were picky about who they took and they always wanted slaves that were "dark skinned, tall, with unblemished skin". Jamal doesn't look like the ppl they bought as slaves. He'd be seen as worthless. Some tribes were left alone because of being "difficult" and suicidal.

Still better than being born in the 1300s and 1400s, the black death killed a lot of people and diseases were very common back then and with lack of medication the lifespan would be extremely low. In the 1700s, he would have more infrastructure and safety.
