It's never ok to feed someone else's animals without their explicit consent. You don't know what allergies/sensitivities/conditions they have or what diet they're on. And some common pet animals are a lot like babies in that giving them different foods can actually make them sick. Just a PSA for ANYONE who didn't understand how not ok that is. Or you could volunteer to come clean up the vomit and diarrhea your "treat" caused. :) ...Idk why this got me so angry lol

Horses cannot throw up. If they eat too much food or otherwise suffer a colic, they are likely to die from it. That's why you don't want random strangers feeding animals too much / the wrong food.

Lewis is correct that the lead poisoning was because of the water system they had on ship during Franklin's lost expedition. It was originally thought to be the tinned goods because the lead soldering was sloppily done on them as the contract was rushed to be completed on time. However, they learned in modern times by exhuming some of the bodies and doing an autopsy that it was incorrect as they had far too much lead in their bones that was nearly impossible to achieve from eating the tinned goods. It was later discovered to be from the fresh water distillery and the steam that was constantly pumped into the ship to warm the sailors.

Someone feeding someone else's horse (or any pet!) is way too common and any pet owner knows how irritating this is. For one, pets can have allergies and you feeding them something the owner does not know of can be very problematic. Second, for horses, a lot of them are on a strict diet for competitions. Third, a lot of animals these days already have difficulty with their weight, you giving them random treats, which are probably filled with sugars (yes, carrots are full of sugar too) and add to the problem. Just don't do it people.

As far as I can tell there are no women spoon balancers. I Googled as hard as I could but couldn't get a single result. I would suggest that perhaps women have no interest in something so bloody stupid, but I did find plenty of pictures of women with 4 foot long finger nails so it's probably not that.
