Essentially, when a person decides to become a cop, they are giving their _tacit approval_ to every law they'll then have no choice but to enforce - This includes incredibly racist and classist laws, drug prohibition laws that have resulted in thousands upon thousands of unnecessary deaths, evictions caused by a lack of affordable housing, protest-crushing etc. And the thing is, if an officer's conscience gets to them and they decide to report their peers, they'll generally be ostracized, bullied or worse (i've heard of calls for emergency backup going ignored etc.) - If not driven from the force entirely. The system has been specifically fine tuned to discourage police from "snitching" on one another.

It's not illegal to be high on any drug (unless you are driving), nor is it illegal to tell a cop you bought drugs, etc. What's illegal is possessing them actively, or distributing them. You can walk up to a cop and tell him you smoked every drug under the sun and he is not allowed to do anything. Perhaps it would give him the right to search you but if you have nothing on your person and you aren't driving then you didn't commit a crime.

The fact is that girls support making it illegal ‘cause you just don’t like the competition ‘cause it devalues what your sellin’, and use of coercive violence in this way is even LESS respectable than what they’re doing. What they put in their bodies is their own business. None of these things have anything to do with whether they should be respected as people.

im actully really glad that they didn't arrest bro, if this is how all cops handled these kinds of situations there would be less violence in society overall and we wouldn't need body cams
