The thing to remember is that currently, Man City have 27 points after 15 games, last season after 15 games Man City had 30 points, so despite all the talk about how they've dropped off, they are only actually 3 points worse off this season than at the same point last season
@cdeford2Күн бұрын
Yes, we must keep things in perspective.
@ecaeas4439Күн бұрын
Past few seasons they've had a lull in performance in winter months due to key players nursing injuries, etc. They've always achieved ridiculous consistency post-christmas. They do look more vulnerable this season but in the end it's all about points per match over the span of the season.
@teambringit619Күн бұрын
I get that, but without Rodri, they're a completely different squad.
@richardsutherland1645Күн бұрын
I dont remember them going 10 games with only 1 win last season or any of the seasons before that.. they could potentially be kicked out of the champions league before the knock out rounds.. like theyve had down periods before but nothing like this
@christineduffy3113Күн бұрын
A bad day when one players injury impacts the team so much, although if Mo Sallah was injured Liverpool would feel the difference, although they do have other classs players, but definitely need to buy another reliable goal scorer@teambringit619

The reason City are in a crisis is because it is relative to their enormous recent success. As an example, Man Utd (currently 9 places below City in the Premier League) are not in a crisis because this is normal for them.

When was the last major international competition packed with great games? The last few World Cup and Euro tournaments have been awful; star players missing through injury, squads going in knackered from too much football, and everyone trying not to lose. Football has been eating itself for years.

The 2030 World Cup will have 1 game in each of Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina. You would assume that they will be the opening matches for those countries. You have to feel sorry for their opponents who you expect will have a training base in Spain/Portugal or Morocco and fly to South America for 1 game then fly back.

Regarding the Saudis winning the bid, tbh you can't blame FIFA if no other nation submit a bid
