I think fans want signings and most will back the manager/sporting director as they haven't done too badly over the years. Before this summer, I would have valued Paqueta at no more than you paid for him, maybe 6-7M less.

With the way the market is right now, Palmer should be valued at over £60M so I think you'd get him on the cheap.
