Fingerprints and footprints. Killing eachothers bosses would remove motive if they find their fingerprints. If some random dudes fingerprint that dont know the boss ends up in the crime scene, then u can argue for why u arent the murderer

Random stranger sure. That would help, but your prints would be there as well since you work there. But that does not remove you from the perp list, just because your prints are always there. Also the "random" person is seen with you every week at the same bar together with the other guy. So if your friend's prints are at the crime scene, you are not off the hook. Especially when your prints show up at his boss's place and then your other friend's prints show up at your other friend's workplace. Police would not be fooled that easily.
