The 25 just looks like a Triumph and Ducati now. I think the 24's are definitely more unique looking. You'll love it

I've got a 23 M1kRR currently stock. Would love to get the ohlins on mine... and the full akra..... I love these bikes soo much.... need to get it on track more though.

They're amazing machines! The Ohlins definitely transformed it. You'll love it once its on there, hopefully it doesn't give you as much grief as it did me

Yeah i agree with you on the 2025 m1000rr. That s1000rr is looking nice though. Question you just swapped out the internals on the forks?

I like the new S1k’s. If I could have unlimited bikes I’d get that grey/blue one in a heartbeat. And yup factory fork tubes new internals. You can use the Ohlins tubes but you’ll lose the lower carbon pieces on the wheel without a custom adaptor. They are out there but they still have to be machined and I just didn’t want to mess with it for the gold tubes

Do you feel vibrations from the handlebar of your bike? Been hearing alot of that from other owners of same bike.

Before I added bar weights, yes. Once the bar weights were on there’s still some vibration but I don’t notice it much anymore

I understand you might not want to go through the hassle but usually the way to put any company on the spot is through social media. Make noise in reddit, x, youtube, try to get content creators involved, all that jazz. If it gets mediatic enough they will become all soft for you

If I wasn’t able to remedy it myself I probably would have started raising hell but at this point it’s over with and I just won’t buy Ohlins anymore. If a bike comes with them cool but I’ll go elsewhere for suspension otherwise. It’s a shame because they do make great stuff

Dong, which one is more comfortable the m1000R or the m1000RR ? Also, if you have ridden the suzuki hayabusa, would you still choose the M1000R/RR as your daily bike or the hayabusa? thanks...

R hands down is the most comfortable, and surprisingly practical. The RR and Busa are more comfortable than other superbikes but I definitely wouldn’t daily them. If I had to pick a daily from those it would be the R without a doubt

@@DongYonder thanks buddy. Appreciate the response :). Yeah, I sat on the RR and Busa(25th Anniversary) and then sat on the R and the R is definately more upright and comfortable and the busa and RR had your lower back leaned more forward definately; which isn't good for long distance riding...

Dunno why my comment earlier disappeared...LOL.....so not sure why a certified Ohlins installer doesnt have the proper tools for install. Dont go too crazy over Ohlins response times...their corporate HQ is in Hendersonville NC and was destroyed in the storm last month. They have closed it indefinitely. Then 2 weeks ago they were sold to Brembo Corporation. I have thier shocks on both my Harleys and they were always very responsive, however that was a few years ago...I hadnt tried to contact them recently...and now that thier building is closed forever, I am not sure when they will be open again. On my 24 M1kRR, I added a Corbin seat the other day...changed everything about the bike!! If I run into issues with my current shocks, especially the rear, Ohlins is the only real option!!

They were told by Ohlins they won’t sell them the tools. Weird deal. I was in contact with Ohlins previously over the last few weeks and they were super responsive when they wanted my money, crickets once they had it.

@@DongYonder That sucks!! TO have a superior product but inferior support just ruins a product and customer satisfaction. If this is the norm, their business will suffer for sure.

@@redrider0151 I don't think they really care. They supply a ton of manufactures and racers etc. I'm just one guy with a set of suspension. Not how it should be but that's the feeling I've gotten talking with my dealer and others about Ohlins. It's too bad, they really do make great suspension.
