@@brianlopez8855 Nothing to do with being local or not. In the UK you can't just buy land and build a house on it i. You need Planning Permission from the local council. I've been through the process in England. The rules are to protect the countryside, neighbours and the environment. They do make it near impossible to just build whatever you like but once you have built your house the same rules control what your neighbours can build right next door to you. Mobile homes are to some extent treated like vehicles and don't always need planning permission. But if you convert that mobile home into a permanant building it will require Permission. I don't know who did the work but if he employed a builder the builder almost certainly knew he should get permission before work started.

A privilege was exercised when the property was recorded into the public record. Privileges are taxable but rights are not taxable....unless you volunteer to give up those rights. Any government tax form contains a declaration of "under the penalties of purjury" which when such form is signed, you are giving government authority over you.

Even in Brazil where I live we have a principle that you can't take someone's home away if he has nowhere else to go. And Brazil is FAR from a model country. Even WE have that...
