The story here is clear: this inexperienced shop owner opened up a store during the boom of Pokemon, but didn’t have the strong distributor connection or the money to keep it going. The best evidence for this is that they were buying product from BEST BUY to sell (that’s what the receipts were stuck to the packs). So they were tying to buy packs for 3.99 and make money off of that.

Was I the only one that thought the big Slimer figure in the back was cool. Definitely make a few trips with him if he comes across more. I wish I was lucky enough to come across just 1 binder of older cards. I've collected since I was a kid but still have no shadowless or 1st edition. I've opened God packs of reverse holos, packs with black or white code cards that were supposed to have hits but didn't, opened etbs that had unsealed packs where the machine just missed the packs, had etb packs where the machine actually came down too far and crimped the cards in the pack, but no "Positive" errors lol. I gotta get a shadowless and or 1st edition

That's how it works. If you don't pay the costs of the storage unit for an x amount of time you lose all rights to the contents inside of it. When signing a rent contract you agree to those conditions.

@@II-ip5nk if you watch orginal buyers video, he asks the storage unit place why the unit was abandoned, he missed a months payment on it and tried to do an under the rug deal in order to keep his unit but they dont allow that lol

he also had 3 other units at the same place which he hadnt missed payments on, said he was waiting on poke shipments that were stuck off shore, it wasnt coming so for some reason he said screw it and just decided not to pay for his storage locker

@@II-ip5nk Some people are allowed to operate a small business from a storage locker as long as they get permission from the parent company that owns the facility. Then a contract is written up to determine how long the business can operate and the hours of operations. Some storage facilities won't allow stores in the locker units because of being located in a high crime area where robberies are prevalent and unavoidable. It depends on the city.

WHAT THE HECK! That first white binder you opened was mine. That’s so crazy! I’ve lost it for years when we moved between California to France the to Florida in 2007 ish. My mom and her second husband got a divorce and lost the house AND the container that moved our stuff along the way to her divorce lawyer. My Pokémon binder was IN that Florida house and container shipped to Florida! I know that binder because I drew that on the binder and the “K” in Pokémon I emphasized and drag the letter “K” out. I usually drag it with an arrow ending but not sure if I did it at this early stage, I was only 9 when I started collecting. SOOO CRAZY. I wonder who and how the storage owner got it from!!!

The poke ball tins are the only “mystery products” I will buy! I just found 6 burning shadows combo boxes at Walmart behind a shelf! And 24 checklane packs of team up, cosmic eclipse and sun and moon and a few others at dollar general! You can find a lot of good things if you are patient and are willing to put the time and effort in! Just like life In General!
