This comment must be in zero G as it went over a lot of peoples heads.
@EugVR65 жыл бұрын
@@anthonysach Unfortunately that idea is undermined by the fact you need gravity to have density and buoyancy. Buoyancy can be removed from water with a methane burst and yet everything in the methane area still sinks to the sea bed, boats, oil rigs etc etc, meaning another force is pulling down the boats and oil rigs in the affect area and its not magic.
@hugh12755 жыл бұрын
@@anthonysach The motion of the heavenly bodies in the universe gives the idea of attraction between them and their stability. Otherwise it is not possible for heavenly bodies to move around each other. Although gravitational force is the weakest force in the nature, it is the most important because from the birth of the universe to its stability, it plays an important role. Newtons universal law of gravitation states that everybody in this universe attract each other with a force which is directly proportional to the product of its masses is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the centres Variation of acceleration due to gravity Since the earth is not perfectly spherical. It is flattered at poles and bulged at the equator. So the equatorial radius is more than the polar radius. Therefore gp>ge Due to height(g')=g(1-(2h/R)) With depth(g')=g(1-(x/R)) Due to rotation of the earth(g')=g-Rω^2cos2A Intensity or strength of gravitational field E=(GMm)/(R^2) Gravitational potential energy U=-(GMm)/(R) The satellite is real. Orbital velocity of satellite=R√(g)/(R+h) Satellite near the earth has velocity of 7.2 km/s Time period of satellite can be found by=2π√(R+h)^3/GM Here is the principle of launching satellite--- Let us suppose a very very ultra high tower on the surface of the earth. Consider a body is projected horizontally from the top of the tower with some velocity. The body will follow a parabolic path under the effect of gravity and strike the earth surface. If the body is projected with velocity greater than the initial velocity, then the body will strike at the earth surface but farther than the previous one. If the velocity is gradually increased then the horizontal range will also increase and finally a stage will come when the body will not strike the earth's surface but will always be in a state of free fall under the gravity in an attempt to fall to earth. So now the satellite revolves around earth. Therefore satellite are put into rockets sent to some height above earth and released with some amount of force that causes the satellite to revolve around the earth.

I have a feeling that this is going to be a very interesting conversation. its called the THEORY of gravity. To begin with, its a "Theory" not a proven fact. I know.. I know... If you drop something it will fall. ok try to understand this. I know it all. let me explain the problem. if you drop an object, is there a "Force" pulling" OR "Pushing" the object down. fact is = UNKNOWN. another fact is " if you drop an object in a vacuum chamber, it has a fall "direction or angle" (the direction it drops is always the same) - FACT. (at this moment I will not call it Gravity why? because the moment i say Gravity you believe it can hold the oceans to a spinning Globe ) this is FICTION. This is not a scientific FACT its a theory. water is always contained! AND LEVEL. in a glass, bucket, swimming pool, lake, and yes oceans. (Huston we have a problem again) of course we can add value to the dropping object time, speed etc but this is THEORY again. We can not proof if the force pulling or pushing this object. (law of motion) : We can say there is a "force because it moves". if we haven't pick it up , can we say there is a force pushing or pulling or holding it to the ground? if its on the ground and not moving then we can say: NO motion => NO Force => NO gravity? yes :-( some say NO! and I don't know. (I can be a rapper too) another fact is: there is NOT A person in this world that know what gravity is. (FACT). You think "yes" because it stay's on the ground. I say "NO" because a balloon is bigger and it floats. so here comes density and buoyancy. clouds in the air floating around. Basically Gravity is a theory. and now comes a smart guy joining the conversation : LIGO proves gravity! yeah right! I bet a moth flew through the laser and BOOM "we found Gravitational Wave! ". But it does not matter! They had to find a reason for the THEORIE of gravity to become a "fact" ! so that science fiction can solve every unknown equations and the most impossible Globe lie with BINGO! =>"GRAVITY"! Q&A is in the next room.

+pa: And he would have never proven anything at all by doing that even if his rocket went tens of thousands of feet high. But, like rainman pointed out, he could easily have proven that the FE model cannot be real by simply grabbing a level and heading for the coast. Just by going a thousand feet high, or so, in the mountains along the coast. Where at 1500 ft altitude the horizon intersects the far end of my 6.5 ft level about 1 inch from the top at the far end. It does not require much altitude to blatantly demo that the horizon is not "level with the eyes", as all flatters declare it is. Fact is, ANY carpenter who frames houses along the coast, has his eyes open, can actually think, and is interested in this subject, knows the FE model cannot be reality. But then, such a thing is just too boring, correct? It is a lot more sexy to think of rocket ships and jet plane flying 40,000 ft high -- everything we are never going to ever do.

See Level all you Flat Earthers saying “density and buoyancy not gravity” don’t understand anything. Buoyancy is a RESULT of density AND GRAVITY. Newton’s first and second laws, objects don’t accelerate unless acted upon by a force, and Force = Mass * Acceleration. If gravity doesn’t exist, what force pulls us down? And don’t say “you just fall down if you’re more dense than what you’re in.” I KNOW you fall down if you’re more dense. Now WHY does this happen? While it is possible that the Earth is accelerating upward, the question then becomes “what is pushing the Earth up?” The fact is, whether you say so or not, you believe in SOME form of gravity.

His ultimate goal was to take a balloon or rocket high enough to get a clear picture of the flat earth. The irony is, when he would have taken a picture and it inevitably would have looked like a round earth, he would have become conspiracy legend, probably that he was either part of the government or that the government got his real photos and replaced him. Because a flat-earther will forever find excuses.

@@BIanka0200 I'm stupid, yet you're the one doing no research before replying to random youtube comments? I'm sure you love to completely disregard every scientific advantage from nasa. did you know that heart transplants were invented by them? imagine how many people have needed heart transplants, and how many would have died without them. also, nasa has made so many important discoveries and is answering questions people could have only dreamed of answering a few decades ago. people have literally been into space. do you even understand how amazing and important that is? because of nasa, we're way beyond where we could have been in our technology and discovery. learning things and answering questions is a huge part of human nature, and the fact that people don't want to just because of their obsession with money both baffles and fascinates me. if anything, nasa needs to be funded more. they're so much more important than people like to believe. people are just so selfish with their money they want to ignore things that really matter. people like you.
