Actually the girl getting out of the car when it was going to be hit was a huge "nope". If you are ever in a pile up, NEVER get out of your car. It's better to brace yourself for impact than to risk getting out and being hit by more cars that are coming in swerving on the ice or rain. I forget where it happened, but I recall reading about one big pile up from a few years ago and the only deaths were of people who had gotten out of their cars because when the other cars barreled into the pile, they got hit by the whole pile moving. You can't accurately guess where a car will move when it's knocked by another car on the ice. Stay in your car until help comes unless it catches fire. As bad as it sounds to get hit by a truck and probably get injured a bit, it's must better than the risk of death if you get out.

If she'd been a fraction slower, or higher up, she'd have been killed by that. It was a VERY stupid move and she survived through luck alone.

I wonder how many times people thought they heard a skinwalker and it was just a random bird mimicking human speech night some demon trying to lure them into the woods lol
@Red-in-Green6 ай бұрын
Somehow I’d never thought of that, but yeah! One of the big things they say about skinwalker mimicry is that it’s imperfect and weirdly repetitive, which is exactly what birds do! They memorize one tone of voice and can’t innovate, since they’re just making a noise as far as they know. Of course most of the places where the reports come from aren’t know. To have mimicking birds, but this is the official explanation for any skinwalker stuff in Australia, as far as I’m concerned lol

There's certain places in the world where it snows a lot, but doesn't get cold enough on the ground for things to freeze quickly. They utilize a recycling, heated water system that sprays the roads and melts snow as its coming down, and is hot enough, and flowing, so it doesn't freeze. I know northern Japan is one of those places. The problem is you have to have the kind of geothermal location they have, as well as the right kind of weather conditions. That's the most cost effective way to heat stretches of roads anyways, but it's limited to wear you live. Take the USA for example. Roads stretch on and on for long distances, and most of the US isn't sitting on top of a rather active fault line. The cost to heat roads, and repair them, would be absurdly high.

A four-six legged robot remains easier to engineer than a humaniform bot.
