yeah, asking if she's the first victim of his is a good question. His age and the way he was attempting to dispose of her is suspicious. If he traveled it would be beneficial to investigate disappearances around his locations he traveled to at the time he was supposed to be there. this wasn't a "crime of passion", this was premeditated, items were acquired, a plan was made.

In my country they developed legislation specifically for strangulation with a very heavy consequence. The reason is that it is about power & control. Defending is about trying to get something away. To strangle someone to the point of unalived requires you to be very physically close, remain there, & for the perpetrator to continue strangling for a long long period

'In a panic' Urg. It was obviously a spite move. She was dead, she couldnt leave him, she couldnt 'be' anyone elses, but it wasnt enough. She still had some aspect of beauty after he murdered her, and he wasnt going to be satisfied until that had also been destroyed. Hence the extreme gross body mutilation. This is what happens when you get certain men out there who are incapable of viewing women as people. We are literally just empty bodies to them to be used then disposed of.
