No one should be allowed in this area with large pieces of luggage and/or backpacks.

Completely agree!! There should at least be a check at the gates and at the "tunnel" It only needs a "sniffer dog" or an electronic wand to check.

He had already been run off for excessively pestering the horses. This laxness on the part of law enforcement is not cool in today's world.

Yes they took him aside asked me not to film
@thefiestaguy883121 күн бұрын
Power to? Yes. But they need reasonable grounds to do so... "having a backpack" is NOT reasonable grounds and would be deemed an unlawful search, with assault charges bought against the officer. Grounds for a search consist of multiple things... not just one "thing". It's also not like the USA where they have to ask your consent to search your vehicle - if the grounds exist the officer can search it (including vessels) without your "consent".

Why isn't the armed police mingle ( if thats the right word ) between the public behind him?

My opinion is the policemen should have acted a bit faster since the odd behavior of the freak was very visible. They should be more alert.

@SinfulVapor7 ай бұрын
What a nasty comment. He's someone's son, friend, brother etc. How would you like people calling one of your loved ones a freak just because they don't act like you think they should. He could be special needs or maybe he is a drug addict..so what.. Does that warrant being treated like that?
@MaryWalker-lt9ng7 ай бұрын
A lot of eyes on him. His behaviour in general was a bit shifty. He did remove a balaclava type think when he was moved over to that side. He could be a lot of things but it's highly important to check him and his backpack. His pacing wasn't normal. Better to be safe than sorry.

From the first moment I saw this guy you could tell he was extremely weird, whatever he was on or whatever his issue it was weird. He was constantly petting the horses blocking others from having photos talking weird to ladies posing for their photos and then grabbed the reins and was warned off. Then he acts like this inside the courtyard? wow what did they do escort him outside? he was very very strange and with a back pack on hmmm not a good thing to see inside there especially with all of those tourists packed in so close together. There’s a man behind him with a backpack, do we need too be worried, they are in cahoots.? Those horses may have been the nicest touch he has had in a long while. It’s not the horses place to be an emotional support animal, however there have been masses of clean cut yuppies who have been rude to both horses and guards on a daily basis. Many of them would be considered weird. Apparently because this man didn’t look clean, he is weirder?
@bevpoff57677 ай бұрын
I agree, For this man the acceptance from the horse may have felt like a balm too his tortured mind. Horses have a significant ability to calm people who are struggling. He appeared polite for the most part. He deserves kindness or at least some compasion not judgement and suspicion.

When did everyone become so intolerant and unkind? The guy clearly has a learning disability. He also has a right to be there. For the people asking why he has no carer - take it up with local government. They withdrew massive amounts of funding and closed local authority day service centres. There is no-one to support this chap.
@thefiestaguy883123 күн бұрын
Actually he does not have a "Right" to be there at all. There is no "Right" whatsoever, it's open by inivitation to the public but police and the army personnel can ask anyone they wish to leave, and forcibly eject them. Horseguards is after all military premises. Also the part he is in IS within the gated area. So no he does NOT have a "right to be there"...
@janelawrence320721 күн бұрын
We all have a right to use the pavement. It is absolutely not mod property until you pass through the gated area. Britain is famed for its acceptance and tolerance. Perhaps you could abandon your bigotry and join those of us who care?
