But ETH is not at a normal club with normal "custodians" had the same logic been applied to Arsenal then Arteta would have been given the boot, now look where they are. Sacking ETH will not change anything for Utd, the problems which are many need addressing, need more better quality players more depth to playing squad to be able to cope with injuries, better medical department, new coaches for better on pitch performances and the mentality of the players need improving as well for 90 minutes not just 45 minutes then give up if losing, when all this sorted then no improvement tactically then sack the manager, but not before hand, don't jump out of the frying pan into the fire, or there will be more to regret and no going back.

as a Liverpool fan I think United's fanbase shows how many people are tag alongs in the football world. Headline readers and highlight reel watchers who don't really watch or understand the game properly, like how a lot of us are with boxing, they just want to be in on the "in thing" and watch the big games when they come along but don't truly follow it week in, week out. ETH should be given time to fix the mess, not helped by existing players on inflated contracts, bought for extravagant fees. The smartest guy in Europe has to be whoever it was at Inter that persuaded United to fork out 40+ million on Onana. That is legalized theft. Imagine picking up over 40 million quid to offload someone as awful as that & then witness him ship 3-4 goals a game multiple times in the following season & still never get dropped. If this had been the first time this has happened I’d agree, the fact with have had so many managers and majority of the same players at the club, it’s time the players get it. “We hear no style of play” the players we have are not good enough, with Man City if a player is not good enough they are gone, at United if they are not good enough we blame the manager get them the sack and offer the players new contracts. In any other occupation if your not performing your put on a performance plan and managed out of the company but because they are footballers they get away with it. We have players earning £100,000 + and can’t even track back, don’t even try to track back. Like most managers speak negatively about the players they implode. The club is a joke.
