Casemiro is so good he makes me just shake my head in disbelief. There was one moment where everyone from United was too high up the pitch and Casemiro stopped their ENTIRE counter coming from Tripper by positioning himself while jogging. There’s an unbelievable footballing brain behind that warrior attitude. He also doesn’t like wasting time, and often delivers one touch bullet passes to the attackers.

I remember when Casemiro have just joined Real Madrid from Sao Paolo. He was young and not mature in his game, but he looked like someone who is disciplined to learn. In training and during games, you always see him chatting with Ronaldo and Marcelo and learning everything from them. What Casemiro also did was after each game, he goes back home and rewatch himself and take notes. Then he went to Porto to get more game time and after that loan year, he cameback to Real Madrid as top player. I'm just glad and proud of him to finally getting the recognition he deserves. Many in England didn't know how good Case was as there was a lazy assumption that he was carried by Modric and Kroos. But what they didn't understand was that although naturally 2 of the greatest technicians of their generation in Modric and Kroos are better technically, without Casemiro that midfield simply would not have worked. In fact, there probably wasn't another DM in the world who would have given the defensive solidity and balance. Massively underrated for that reason, not only in England, but also many in Spain. No surprise that people are shocked that he's far better on the ball than expected. Partly, because of what I mentioned above, but also because he is taking more risks at United, as he's no longer just passing sideways to Modric and Kroos to dictate play.

Replacing a mediocre Premier League midfielder in McTominay with one of the best central midfielders of an entire generation in Casemiro has been the predominant factor behind ManU's resurgence, over EtH and Rashford. @LFC Bung A top manager can't do much without elite personnel. Look at Klopp and his aging midfield this season. Mourinho didn't win any trophy of significance at ManU largely because his DMs were weak. An elite manager makes a difference no doubt but talent - particularly the spine of a team - impacts winning more. You replace a mediocre player with a world class player at the heart of your midfield and it will completely change your trajectory as a team.

I need to see Sabitizer and Casemero together in the middle, I know Feeds been decent the last 2 games but he terrifies me on the ball.

You don't seem excited Sir,,, are you part of team who expected this golden man of a manager to take 10 years to turn it around at United?? Indeed eras do Come to an end,,,and it's just the beginning,,,let him cook🔥🔥🔥

You were right about Bruno. He was terrible again, just like all our big games.

the people forget karius getting a huge nudge from Sergio Ramos in the beggining of the game in the final of the champions. Try to play a game in high level with your head dizzle because of a concussion.

Now the next challenge is to find a young DM who has the potential to turn into a quality DM in next window so that he can rotate and replace him in 3 years, because if we don't do that, the drop in performance will be too sharp

It was light work for United. Once they went ahead Newcastle had to stop playing in the margins as they like to do. Newletico could of easily lost by 5 or 6..

I've noticed a few people criticise Karius for the second goal but I think that's stupid and lazy analysis of the goal because they can't get the idea of what he did against Madrid out of their heads. What was he supposed to do in that situation? Wait for the ball to be almost creeping into the net before going down?
