The fans that got in the ground should have just done a sit in on the centre circle. Sadly a few idiots who took corner flags and acted a bit idioticaly weakened the impact of the protest. I'm a Gooner but I totally understand Utd fans frustration, how the Glazers "bought" the club was disgusting. Basically anybody could do that....but only those with connections can, it was just wrong on every level. If a group of fans had gone to institutions to borrow the money to buy the club then transferred that debt to the club the institutions would have kicked them out. Its one rule for the rich and connected, another rule for normal people. I think football has focused peoples minds on a societal and economic problem that exists globally.

I watched Gary Neville have a rant about the owners, yet he was happy enough to take his wages off them, I never heard him speaking against them while he was employed by them. He didn't care when the premier League did a similar thing to the football League, the other clubs had no choice but to agree to it, because they were going if a deal was signed or not. He and some of the ex professionals are some of the biggest hypocrites going.
