Man who found Susana Morales remains testifies in trial against ex-officer

What sweet gentleman. Mom in hospital, Dad laid up in bed, found this beautiful girl’s remains and found out who it was the next day on the way to his wife’s grandfather’s funeral. I hope he finds some peace knowing he is the reason hopefully the family gets justice. Edit: he did find out who the remains belonged to the next day. His alibi sadly was being on his way to the funeral.

You have no idea hun i was so grateful to the young man who found my son I pray for him still he quit his job and everything he was badly shaken up he was only 19 he worked for the forestry board my son had been missing for 7 weeks he took his own life 😢 I spoke to the young man and told him who my son really was and how lovely and funny he was said you’ll never know how grateful I am to you he’d just turned 16 my youngest I said I’m so sorry you had to see what you did 😢 I’ll never know but know it wasn’t good I hope he’s doing well now it’s been 7 years now feels like yesterday but I knew he’d gone I felt it so when it’s that situation all you want is them laid to rest they only go up that forest every ten years to rip bushes out and plant more trees for some reason they were years early I thank god so much I don’t think I’d be here if it wasn’t for my other 4 children and 5 grandchildren now but it never leaves I’ll never be the same again 😢I had to fight for my other children my body started attacking itself I then seen my daughter holding her chest she took so much on from me I shit myself and thought wake up your going to lose another child so now I’m alone when when I want to break now , god bless this beautiful girls family and may she rest in peace 🙏 such evil people in the world 😢

Well no, there was other evidence. Bryant's phone actually pinged off a near-by cellphone tower and it showed he was the only one in that area at around the time of death. He also called Susana's sister with a *67 number to question her about Susana's disappearance. His vehicle was in the area where she disappeared, and then his truck was also seen staking outside her family's house.

This case was on an episode of The First 48! I don’t know which episode. I found the episode so sad that a lot of things in the trial sounded familiar! The episode shows how they proved it was the cop and how they discovered the gun! The detectives were shocked that it was a police officer so they made extra sure that it was him! Her body was there for almost 6.5 months from July 2022 to February 2023. The forensic anthropologist and other forensic lady both of them said that because her body was outdoors in a harsh environment (hot summer to cold winter) and her body wasn’t buried, it decomposed very fast as well as stray animals like dogs and coyotes could’ve eaten away at her flesh and bones were scattered around. The body decomposed faster versus if she was buried in a casket since she was just left outside. It’s extremely sad

@@Ant-Teeit’s explained why he was there. He had previously gone off roading in the area. The vehicle, being a soft top is loud so it’s not unusual that he would step out of the car. And according to his testimony, once he saw remains he contacted authorities and he didn’t go snooping through the scene so its no longer just circumstantial in evidence nor in hypotheticals anymore. It will be interesting to see what argument is made by defense council. And. for the weapon found during the grid search-that was carried out by LEOs and investigators AND it was the gun that was issued to him as an officer- tripped himself up on that one
