Tiana is my favorite princess. She has such a special place in my heart! She's legit the only Princess Id cry over. I never felt that way about any Disney princesses as a kid, but Tiana is a true strong role model for women who work hard and stay true to themselves.

@@user-ub1gb9yo6oas someone else in the comments pointed out, I'm sure that Disney workers (princesses especially) deal with their share of creeps and unpredictable situations. I think she was just trying to gauge what exactly she was dealing with and when she realized that he was just a developmentally disabled adult and no threat, she was able to relax and play into the role and interaction.

@@socialoutletssilencemetheTRUTH Yeah, I hate it when I hear of someone using Autism as an excuse for bad, offensive or dangerous behavior. I don't mean where you mess up and put your foot in your mouth and apologize (been there too much), but where someone persists in really nasty behavior and claims they can't help it. They harm not only those who run afoul of them but every Autistic person who ends up labeled as dangerous because of those who use it as an excuse. Like the kid at my daughter's school who was stalking a girl there and the parents tried to pass it off saying he didn't know better. If he's aware enough to attend school without an aide, he's able to learn what no means. Not everyone is able and that's another situation. But for the love of all things good, we've got to at least teach them what they're capable of learning. Sorry, bit of a rant. I was also pleased to see how well he behaves. It's got to be extra challenging when your kid is a grown man and you know how people are likely to react to him if he so much as stares at them a little too long. They're doing great and I hope he handled the rest of the day okay.

@@BeeWhistler I hate to say this, and it is something I’m trying to overcome. But my first boyfriend was autistic and he raped me. I was only 15 and he was 18. He blackmailed me as well, and threatened if I didn’t come over to his house for more he would show everyone pictures of us. My step sister has autism not major, but it is something I am trying to overcome, is being scared of autistic men. Women I don’t seem to have any issues with, but autistic men scare me. I tried to go to the school for help cause he was assaulting me at school, teachers literally saw it and did nothing, I’m not kidding. I tried to move seats on a few occasions but then I got into trouble for attempting to move. The school brushed it off and didn’t believe me and said “he wouldn’t do that” I’m 22 and still need therapy and I’m still scared of men, anywhere I go I have to have someone with me, I won’t go anywhere alone.

It actually warmed my heart seeing how he held back hugging her no matter how much he wanted to. It shows that he was taught well and had the proper support and love that he needs. I have a few classmates who are special needs and although I’m patient and nice with them it is very easy to get uncomfortable. I’ve always hated being touched by others so a simple poke or hand on shoulder makes me very uncomfortable when it’s not someone I find close. These boys sometimes randomly come up to me and touch me when I am walking to get a lunch with my friends and I try to me as nice as I can when pulling away. Once one asked for a handshake and I gave it but it was like and iron grip and he wouldn’t let my hand go.😭

Nor should you or anyone else be! Honey, you aren't just a "person with "special needs" as much as you are simply a "special person!" You are obviously a very KIND person and in the world today THATS what makes you unique! That's what makes you "special." Special is not defined by what you NEED; it's defined by what you GIVE of yourself to others and to the world. Always know you're an AMAZING person, deserved of EVERYTHING that EVERY person with a good and kind heart deserves. You just keep being YOU because that's MORE THAN enough and SO much MORE than MOST "average" people are these days. YOU ARE AMAZING! PERIOD! 😁 Much love from a stranger in SC. 😁😍🥰😘❣️~yvette.

@Dani Dakota WOW! Now THAT was a surprise but okay... ❌️ Because there are MORE people in the world, TODAY, consumed by hate than there were prior to the Civil Rights Movement! ❌️Because some people are born with "soul cancer;" others are TAUGHT! ❌️Because, rather than be DECENT, (Aka; different, unique, individual) people gravitate to haters & the faux power they seem to have. They just simply follow along because they're too ignorant to want to be BETTER. ❌️ Because people are lazy & its MUCH easier to look out for oneself than to take a stand on behalf of others. ❌️Because people are so spoiled from having easy lives that its literally IMPOSSIBLE for them to relate to anyone who doesn't! They're simply CLUELESS! ❌️ "Because until someone else s struggle affects ME; it doesnt "affect me!" (& by "me" I do mean "anyone, in general.) ❌️Because bigotry (like hate but more specific) is FAR more alive than it's been in the last 200yrs! And by definition; "bigotry" MOST DEFINITELY includes ANYONE whos differently abled in any & every way. ❌️ And... for the coup de grace.. Greed: Ex. "They don't have it THAT bad! They should get a job and stop faking for hand outs and attention." So... I COULD go on...and I WILL, if you NEED it. But I must admit...I'm truly surprised anyone gave a reason to go THIS far! 🤷‍♀️

@@Quorented I’m autistic as well and, although I’ve been bullied for most of my life, most of the recent bullying now that I’m no longer a kid is from people online calling me a creep/degenerate because I behave similarly. People have referred to me as “the next Chris Chan” on several separate occasions, which worries me because I know Chris Chan did some awful things, and one person even referred to my channel as a serial killer’s virtual diary. I've heard that the princesses at disney go through a course of special needs recognition and how to handle the different behaviors that are typically associated with some conditions. She was really well trained and really good with people in general based just on this one interaction

@@2centsbear638 they are specially trained. My grandson is special needs & the 2 playing Safari Mickey & Minnie at Animal Kingdom were so amazingly wonderful to him and he did so good with them. My daughter was super nervous as how he would do but he did really great. I was so proud of him & the people playing Mickey & Minnie.

you talk about a real damn person like they’re an animal kept by their parents. “have done such a fantastic job with him” his parents might have guided him but HE was the one who took the time and put in the goddamn work to appear socially acceptable to you. even if you’re not saying something initially bad about us, it’s clear that you don’t respect us as our own people. jeez.
