My late mom had a small Mexican restaurant and would not put up with laziness. All the🧂and pepper shakers were always full to the top, there was never one even a little bit empty. Because if they were low, that meant workers were slacking off. If a 25w, or any💡went out it was changed Right Away. Her 'If there's time to lean there's time to clean' sign hung where everyone seen it. She would hire someone just to fire them, and once, a canned worker demanded their pay midweek and she snapped back, "Payday's on Friday!" She was a tough boss, manager, owner, and also caring, helpful, and resourceful.
