I sleep on the couch. When a dent to my skinny ass i just get another couch. The couch is more comfortable then some bed. Buy a nice couch with arm rests that are like big soft pillows. I have been in jail and there i was in solitare and slept on cement without even a blanket or pillow. Also was homeless sleeping on the cold, wet had dirt. But ya i have 2 beds and still prefer the couch.

The cliche about everything being a matter of perspective just rings so true and its why so many of these people aren't like Marc. They serve bad food and keep an unclean restaurant because that's all they've known, they're fine with it and think everything is ok and normal. They have to really be shown a better of way doing things, I've had to deal with this in my own industry a lot when you come into a situation where people are already giving up and just going through the motions, they really need to see to believe.

I have never felt so bad for any owner than I have for Mark. After that first big chewing out by Ramsey you can see the devastation on him, and then when Gordon walks out, Mark's first reaction is "I'm gonna go clean". Most of the time it has to be screamed at them or threatened that Gordon won't come back until they do it. So even after that heart breaking moment for Mark he puts his head down and carries on. Oh and that jerk off of a brother getting upset after the revamp, dictionary definition of a cry-baby. Why is there always someone in these restaurants that thinks "But we'll lose all our old business if we change" when you are literally a sinking ship, sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. Absolutely LOVE that Gordon wouldn't shake his hand.

I’ve watched this a few times, and to be honest, Mark is one of the nicest people to appear on kitchen nightmares. Genuine, hardworking, really cares about his business. It has always felt like their marriage was over before this began. Sadly I understand that’s the case now? It’s a shame this all didn’t work, the new redecoration was epic, even this many years later - despite what the twerpy bartender says.

This is one of the better examples of the show being reality TV I think, Gordon’s evaluations of the food are fair, but he is needlessly rude when gathering people to tell them about it, and escalates the argument far more than the sous chef does
