Some people are allergic to tea tree oil, reasonably common a healthcare professionaltold me.. I only discovered it when after a leg wax the salon applied a moisturising cream that had some tea tree oil in it to my legs which then developed a rash. So I can't use any hair product that has tea tree oil in it (and an awful lot do - always reading labels) or I would end up with an itchy allergic rash all over my scalp. Just a note of warning in case anyone who hasn't used products with tea tree oil in them before is considering using the tea tree water recommended. Best to do a skin patch test first.

CCCA is a progressive condition. Once a follicle is scarred, there’s no possibility of hair ever growing back. While these natural remedies can aid the symptoms of CCCA like the itching/ burning sensation, medical intervention through the use of steroid medication and antibiotics as well as a telogen inhibitor like minoxidil are really the only proven treatments that work to stop CCCA from spreading .

Thanks for this very informative video. Always a pleasure watching your videos. I wanted to ask you a question. Do you think CCCA alopecia can be cured? What would be suggestions I could use? Please and thanks.

CCCA CENTRAL CENTRIFUGAL CICATRICIAL ALOPECIA (CCCA) is what I feel that I can relate to. Not sure why but it started after I had my son when I was 19. And that center spot has been on & off again growing for some time & then not for much longer😔Trying to find a Dematolgist in my city now...I just want it to grow back & for it to STAY! ..ITS been like this for abt 15yrs

@@louisejones798 lol, yea. I'm done buying products, oils, moisturizers, grease natural stuff..done! After I use up what I have, I'm not putting anything else in my hair. HOW is it that Most men don't use ANY of the stuff we use & their hair grows just fine. I think blk women are STREESSED, WORRIED & not happy. Ik I am. So I eat badly & dnt drink enough water. I dnt think good for myself, abt myself. And I keep loosing my hair bc of this. It's either that or I have cancer🤷🏿♀️...sry for the dark humor. Thts where I'm at rt now.

I lost some of my hair from the deaths of my mom , mother in law and then the pandemic started. It is finally starting to grow, but very slowly. Can these suggestions help me too? Or is stress different? Thank you

I have psoriasis & my hair breaks off & scalp gets very flaky. I wash it weekly & deep condition & then use leave in & coconut oil on scalp. Can you discuss this more???
@CurlyChemistry2 жыл бұрын
I don’t recommend coconut oil on the scalp. It has the ability to clog the pores. Instead incorporate aloe Vera rinses for moisture and pH balance and tea tree mixed with a little jojoba oil.
@sharenwiltshire84562 жыл бұрын
For the excessive flakiness, I used aloe Vera pre poo method by Whitney White (Melanin) and it worked well for reducing psoriasis on my scalp. Now, I don’t have it anymore. Also I am currently seeing a African American dermatologist who prescribed regimen treatment for alopecia and psoriasis. My hair is growing back slowly. There is hope.
