Managing Loneliness in Marriage
What's poppin folks! Welcome to Chat with Charli. I share my life experience to help black millennials go from frustrated to flourishing in relationships, personal growth, and parenthood!
In this video I share my personal experience with feeling lonely while being married. People think marriage will complete them in every single way, but they don't realize that you can experience loneliness in marriage. Many of us get married because we want a life partner and companionship, but we don't realize that when you're married you are still responsible for your own persona growth.
You may be experiencing things as a person that your spouse is not qualified to handle, and that may cause you to feel alone. If this is you, please understand that you are not alone. Seek counseling, and make sure that you are practicing self care so that you can get through the most difficult times in your marriage.
One of the best ways to deal with loneliness while you're married is to ensure that you are practicing self care and also consider counseling.
