Really enjoying this series! Are MAO-B inhibitors specific to PD? Would MAO-A be inhibited to address depression?

Thanks so much! Yes, MAO-Bs are specific to PD, but generally speaking MAOIs are often prescribed as antidepressants

Not thinking there’s a connection there… prolactin is produced in the pituitary gland
