Hello everyone, we once in a while need books that will cheer us up, make us smile, and help us get along in life. I review and summarize these two books ikigai and a man called ove in this video. These are two such books. These are the books that you can read when you are felling low. Books that can cheer you up, uplift your mood, give you a new perspective, throw some ideas or give you some gentle reminders.
One is Fiction- A man called Ove written by Swedish author Fredrik Bachman and the other is non-fiction Ikigai - the Japanese secret to a long and happy life.
Both these books are very different in terms of the theme but throw light on why humans cannot exist in isolation. Why we look for meaning in our lives and why we need to have that connect with people. I have always been fascinated by Japan and find their way of life very interesting. The book Ikigai outlines these concepts. A man called Ove on the other hand tells us the story of Ove who is depressed after the loss of his wife and retirement. he is contemplating suicide when a couple gatecrash their way into his life.

A man called owe... Really?? When you started you video i was really excited and happy that i am surely gonna buy a new book for read. Once you revealed the title i got real sad. Sad not because the book is bad, but because i have read it already. And the most insane part was that, having introduced that a book of non fiction that is your favourite, i paused the video to think about my favourite nonfiction and all of a sudden this exact book came to my mind. Sad again😒
