If Garnacho had made better decisions in attack we would have most likely scored more as there were many times we were on the front foot but just ruined our chances. Think you’re being a bit harsh with Ugarte. He’s in there to run everywhere and make challenges. Palmer might have got past him once but apart from that he kept Palmer relatively quiet. He’s a good player and Amorim knows how to use him. He also had the most tackles of any player across all Europe in the past 2 seasons - he’s not in there for his ball playing ability, but still isn’t too bad on the ball

I question Maresca's motivational skills. I don't think the desperation that fans have to break that 10yr record- was translated to the players enough. It was ABSOLUTELY poor in my opinion. I am also not a fan of the way we often make mistakes defensively, especially in the build up. Maresca REALLY needs to address a lot of things, it's NOT good enough in my opinion because there was an UNBELIEVABLE need to take advantage of their poor form and we didn't do that!!

my word, this is the height of delusion!! First of all, you rested the whole chelsea side whereas we essentially played the same players minus onana and mazraoui. secondly, casemiro and ugarte couldnt be rotated due to injury. eriksen, mount, mainoo were all injured. our bench midfielders were kids without a minute of professional football. we took off ugarte (he is not fit, only league start was against liverpool) and brought on a CB.. c'mon man. given we were up a goal with just 25 minutes left, and given we create more chances, we are disappointed to not win. garnacho was awful, hojlund was awful, but on to the next one.
