Sir Matt Busby was a revolutionary, he changed world football forever and is among the finest managers to have ever been in the game. We are extremely fortunate to have had him, and all the success we have had is largely down to him. He was the man who laid the foundations for our success throughout the ages, and that includes the glorious reign of SAF. Without Sir Matt, there would be no Sir Alex, and without them our club would be a a shadow of what it is. RIP Sir Matt Busby. Legend.

I'm an life long Arsenal fan but boy I do envy man United's history. All credit do go to Sir Matt, even in his difficult time he did stand by his values and moral, build a foundation for generations to follow and no matter how much money be pumped in today's football they can't have a history like this. Proud of the Busby way, salute.

Matt, Bill Shankly and Joe Mercer. True gentlemen managers who revolutionised the English game. No disrespect to other big clubs, but when I was a kid these men weren't just in charge of the football club, they were in charge of their respective cities. Salford, Liverpool and Manchester. God bless them all and what they gave to us.
