Not sure i agree with "greatest" ever player, which is not always the best ever player. I think Kompany remains City's greatest player, followed by Aguero and Silva. Yaya Toure is unfortunately often forgotten but his peak might have been the absolute best from a City player. He was practically impossible to stop. If KDB remains here for another 5 years then yes he'll probably surpass them all.

Also I’m not old enough to remember the likes off bell summerby. So I’m classing it as prem player! Yaya were unbelievable for a few seasons but I feel he tainted it with off field comments, and not doing it as long as those other players?

British interviewers are not always "easy" to understand, as they can have heavier accents, which makes it harder to interpret the question. Kevin is not arrogant... he is confident... and that can sometimes be "lost in translation". He loves the game and his team-mates. He simply does whatever it takes to make it happen... whether it is a pass, cross or a goal. De Bruyne always has the qualities of an 8 even when he plays in a more attacking position. He still contributes defensively and drops back to carry the ball through the midfield. He’s a very well-rounded player. He even has played as a 9 for City and done very well at that too.

Most people were expecting a thoroughly technical breakdown of his play but the truth is that De Bruyne is a just a regular guy who is just great at football. He doesn't even seem to be thinking much about those genius passes and that's what makes him so great. He doesn't even seem excited to talk about it. He's still underrated imo. Like he said himself in the video, it's better to create more chances then making assists. Thats why i feel he's underrated. People who watch all games of Man City and Belgium know how many chances he creates that don't lead to goals cause someone else screwed up or keeper did amazing safe and those same people are the ones that recognise him as the best midfielder. And he's been the best for a while now.
