Many useful vocabularies for use in the hospital. I suggest putting English next to the Mandarin word as well beside the picture and talking in English.

Hey dear Tom & Ula; although I forwarded this to my daughter; I’m going to make her a “cheat sheet” they can maybe keep in her Emergency Room. I noticed some things that are commonly asked, but you all understandably didn’t include. (Ie: types & severity of pain, medical history and allergies are a few). I looked most of them up, but because of the many nuances in Chinese, I want to double-check with you all. If it’s OK, I’ll send a list in a day...or 3. (Just finishing yet another blizzard & more high winds, minus 35+ temps and ice are coming tomorrow. 🙄😖. What a crazy winter this year!). It will obviously depend on my power situation the next few days. I’ll let you know in WA. 😊❤️

Hey Elaine, great suggestions. Actually we have put this in our new book. So it will contain severity of pain, I’m allergic to etc. Problem is there are so many things one can be allergic to it’s better just to put the sentence I’m allergic to and then you say the medicine. Medical history is slightly more challenging as it really varies from person to person but again the book contains symptoms, conditions and treatments so should be able to make heads and tails of most situations. ❤️😊
