i really like jim racing i found myself smiling watching him race his old car my dad just died 2 weeks ago he raced for40 years off an on my son going to take some of his ashes across the finish line one last time in his old coup thats been sitting for 30 years thanks for sharing jims day of racing

It was perfect weather for end of September racing in central New York. I wanted so bad to make the show but it just wasn’t in the cards. Utica Rome slick track par for the course or for Billy maybe curse. Great run to 5th for Mike and BP3 first time at the speedway and got a 2nd WOW! Really neat to see Mikes dad get behind the wheel. 🟢Gotta be tickled to have a pair of father and son duo's at UR this weekend. We can do cool things like this in our modified racing world and I'm certain that our community digs it. 🍌 GREAT TO SEE THE WORKSHOE TAKING LAPS IN A "Outlaw Modified". Happy for Jim to be able to get her built back up and get at it at UR! Perfect time of year for that car to see some track time again. We're approaching Outlaw 200 weekend, ya know? Annnnnd, there's not much "Outlaw" to the modifieds at Fulton in October anymore. As far as the call with regards to 84y & 101? Well, that was a racing deal. Gotta let it go. I mean, if Jr sent it and didn't get on the binders to avoid Alex then it would have been a whole helluva lot worse for both cars. Right? Besides it's pretty safe to say that after clearing Billy, in order for Alex to get the angle of entry he needed AND considering the track conditions, then he had to have been on the binders too? Which only makes it that much more of a tough call for the officials. He is a Friday night regular tho and Jr. Is an invader...just saying. But, when you have a dog in the fight and in the heat of the moment I'm sure that it makes it all the more harder of a pill to swallow. Being said, great weekend for the 35. Rotating the center at UR when it's black slick and w/o being loose on exit is no easy task. Lift points and angles of entry/ exit keep changing throughout a night. So great job Michael! Great job BP III! First time at a new track. Different surface. Coming home in second? Loading up clean and in 1 piece? That's some talent. Ya had a couple of looks at sneaking away with the lead ...and then, well who knows? Right!? Shades of "The Kid" right there. That's the Hallmark of his career. Invading different tracks and kicking ass! He cleaned the house up here at Fulton stringing together those Victoria 200 victory's. For a while that was a regular big check collection event for Billy "The Kid" Pauch! LMAO Anyways, great content Mandee! We're all happy that you all decided to make the trip up to UR! See you at Fulton.🏁🏁
