Idk how much you know about aerodynamics, but the wall acts like a vacuum when you get close enough, and once you get within maybe 3-4 inches, it'll just pull you in because of the pressure difference of the air. All the drivers know this, so it's still on Briscoe

Can somebody please explain how the live playoff score is calculated? And what it actually means? At one point Larson was 24th and Reddick was 9th, yet the scoreboard shows Larson +21 and Reddick +17. I might be dumb, but I don't understand how this works. How do you still get points if you're out of the first 20?

basicaly its points as they run so "if the race ended right there" thats where they would be in the points. since playoffs points reset every round larson had that big of a buffer on the cut off line to have the +21 as opposed to reddick whos buffer coming in was smaller
