With regards to the Team Dim Sun/Dim Sum sound-alike thing, that actually becomes part of a sidequest mission that you can do at one point in the game. When you're out on patrol looking to help people, this guy says that his grandmother's two Murkrow have gone missing and asks you to track them down. When you do, it turns out that the two Murkrow are named Dim and Sum, and they ran away because they felt ashamed about their names because everyone in town was talking about "the bad guys Team Dim Sun", which sounded like their names. This game has the greatest writing, I swear.

The murkrow are named dim and sun, not dim and sum. There is a different quest on the volcano island where you rescue a team dim sun grunt who was left behind, and the town elder gives him dim sum.

Seriously though, everyone needs to play Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It has one of the greatest plots in the entirety of Pokemon and is just an amazing game in general. I've played it all the way through at least 20-30 times over the years, and I'm not exaggerating. Explorers of Sky and Shadows of Almia are two of of the most nostalgic games for me, but I've only played through Shadows of Almia 3 or 4 times, so I might get a rom on my phone so I can play it during my breaks at work. I still have the game, but I'm not trying to carry around my 3DS XL and get even worse wrist pain.

Man, the magic of mystery dungeon is in its music and storytelling. I highly suggest giving it another try. It is one of those games best experienced over a long period of time as to not get bored. You don't wanna burn yourself out on the gameplay. I promise tho, the story in pmd time sky and or darkness is so good, that it makes up for any problem the game might possibly have.

I first played Explorers of Sky when I was 12 and while I wasn't into the dungeon crawler gameplay, the story and music were AMAZING and more than made up for it. (And I got used to the gameplay pretty quickly) I actually prefer it over a lot of the main games, simply because of how immersive it is and how much inspiration it gave me as a kid.

In the German version they're called Team Nachtschatten. I don't remember a lot of the jokes, but Ice was named Glacio and the classmate was named Bodo and the joke was with Odo. I remember the Admins and grunts in the abandoned castle being salty about not having names. And then they get jealous that you have an actual name. I also loved Frohderich, Rythmia und die Resolute Ute. And Urs. Jaidens skipped the best parts about Urs breaking down the doors XD. I always loved that part XD. Pokemon sun was the first pokemon game I was actually excited to beat. I spent hours playing Pokemon pearl but the story was so few and far between that it was never really engaging to me. I literally had to look up where to go and what to do most of the time because I couldn't figure it out on my own. Flash forward a few years and pokemon sun released, I had just got it for Christmas and the moment I started playing it I was sucked in. The story was very engaging and the end of the game actually felt intense and climactic. Overall it's one of my favorite pokemon games I've ever played.
