I kinda like Beheeyem because of one episode of the Unova anime, where basically everyone is being hypnotised by Beheeyem except Ash, Pikachu, Jessie, James and Meowth. Then near the end Beheeyem posessses Meowth to talk through him, and explains everything. Then Ash asks why *they* aren't hypnotised and Beheeyem replies with the best line in the Unova anime: "It is hard to hypnotise idiots."

My love for Beheeyem exploded when I saw its dex entry in Sword. To quote, "Whenever a Beheeyem visits a farm, a Dubwool mysteriously disappears." While a tad creepy due to abduction, its choice of abductee is just so comically soft and fluffy that I can imagine a Beheeyem stealing Dubwool because they really wanted a cuddle buddy.

I was with you up until Unown. It's an awful Pokémon to use, but I love it's lore. I'm always hoping for it to get some love whenever new games come out. Maybe an evolution where they fuse together, or an origin form when holding an Arceus related item, or a related legendary like Diancie to Carbink.

I hate to be that person, but I actually like Cherubi. Back when Diamond & Pearl came out, my brother used to let me and my sister play on his old save files. We would just run around with his team, that was until we found out what the P. C. was. We picked out all his cute Pokemon, which ended up being a Pachirisu name "Dylan" and a level 12 Cherubi. I didn't know how to rename it, but I called the Cherubi, "Cherry". Cherry was the first Pokémon I ever evolved. I got so scared, that I ran crying to my brother that I broke the game. It's always going to be apart of my Pokémon memory. Although it may not be my favorite Pokémon (that title goes to Espeon) I have always loved it.

I actually really like unown! I grew up playing Gold without speaking English, and the games weren’t translated for my country, so I had no idea what was going on in the ruins of Alph, nor did I ever notice they were shaped like letters. It really felt like finding an abandoned mysterious ruin with unexplained ancient creatures in it to me.

Yes, this, exactly this. Well, not the English part, because the first time I played G/S was in Japanese. Just the same, however, I didn't speak the language, had no clue what was up with these ruins full of weird Pokémon, but was all the more intrigued by that sense of mystery. My favorite shape was Unown(G), even before I knew they represented letter. After learning it was based off the first letter of my own real name I only found it even cooler, and have often carried one on my team as a sort of mascot.

Also, back in the early days of the TCG, his card was fun for those with a mischievous bent. Pokemon power that let you change type to anything on the field, an attack that would damage and poison _and_ confuse, a (at the time) respectable HP pool, a solid resistance, and no retreat cost...all for 1 evolution and 2 energy on top of a base pokemon with an attack that would damage and paralyze. That is indeed a good boy.

It's actually because in gen 5, TM51 was ally switch. A psychic type move. However, since Beheeyem wasn't available in X and Y without transferring (this was before ORAS) from gen 5, its TM chart was also transferred. In other words, during its transition from gen 5 to 6, it maintained its ability to learn tm51. However, tm51 was a different move in gen 6. The developers most likely forgot to change the code for it to say that it can't learn tm51 anymore.

I honestly love Venomoth, Lickilicky, and Barbaracle. My first ever legit shiny was a Venomoth in FireRed, so the species has that nostalgia for me. Lickilicky just looks super huggable, and I've never got the hate for Lickitung's honestly decent design and stats. And Barbaracle was on my team in X, and served me honestly pretty well.

I love Unown so much ! Their lore is fun and how they work is kind of creepy. Their simplistic design, weak stats and non-existent movepool makes them so mechanical and weird. I feel like they don't have a personnality on their own but they are all parts of a really big organism or something. The third Pokémon film is also really good and they play a very interesting role in it.

I myself personally like Cherrim because with its flower gift ability, you can run a non-competitive, just-for-fun set, with a flower gift Cherrim, and a sunny day, forecast Castform, I did it as an experiment in my personal copy of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, and it was actually pretty fun, in my opinion

hey_your_boi_mike_here I've actually recently started a Pokemon Pearl Nuzlocke where one of my team members is a Cherrim. Currently I'm at the sixth Gym Leader and I've had Cherrim since the second Gym Leader. And because he's been around so long, I've really grown to love this Pokemon. I love the form change and his design is just adorable. This Nuzlocke has made him one of my favorites and I really hope he doesn't die.

I like Venomoth because when I was playing pokemon red back in the day I got through all the elite 4 with my level 80 Blastoice but eventually lost to Gary's Venusaur. And being the noob that I was back then I didn't train any other pokemon other than my starter. And I was screwed but I won thanks to a level 32 Venomoth I randomly caught in safari zone thanks to the type matchup. Since then Venomoth has been one of my favorite pokemon! :) I kinda like Barbaricle too.

@@diamondassassin1292 I just checked. Rival's Venusaur in rb only knows Mega Drain, Razor Leaf, Solar Beam and Growth. All of its attacking moves are Grass type. Venomoth quad resists them (poison and bug both resist grass) and could easily tank at least 3 grass type moves. I had either Sleep Powder or Stun Spore and then Psychic to hit it super effectively.

I'm typing before I watch: I swear to god, if Heatmor is on this list, I'm gonna be angry. lmao Edit: Goddammit. xD I actually quite like Heatmor simply because a lot of people dislike it. Same reason for you and Castform. Besides, Heatmor's shiny is absolutely phenomenal. It looks like an erupting volcano and it's so damn cool. I've also found it to be reasonably decent in battle in lower tiers as a special attacker. It has access to Giga Drain... Which is amazing. Heatmor gets plenty of love from me.

I like Venomoth and Barbaracle. Since it got Quiver Dance, Venomoth is actually pretty good, as I discovered in Pokemon Showdown playing UU. Barbaracle was an early favorite of mine, and its design never turned me off. I used it in my first Y playthrough and with Tough Claws and Shell Smash it was easily my star Pokemon in the game.

I was surprised to see Venomoth right out the gate, since I actually do like it's design (in my top 10 favorite bugs). But then you followed up with Tyrogue. While I agree with all the entries after that point, I can't with this one. Tyrogue is my favorite fighting type in the whole series, and is high on my list of favorite pokemon in general. I don't normally care about stats or other mechanical details, so I tend to choose my favorites solely on design. And of all fighting types, I've loved Tyrogue's design the most since first seeing him.

omg i love tyrogue and i was thrilled to see them so easily accessible in swsh but i definitley agree it's a pokemon that does not get a lot of love and all of the reasoning for why makes sense. the main reason i like tyrogue so much is that i love gimmicks and i think how it evolves is super neat and i like being surprised by who i'm gonna get! i will say though the first time i REALLY used one as a team member was in sword and after it evolved into hitmonlee i uhh... boxed it lol
