It's been a rough start for us as my oldest is doing a whole new curriculum in order to take CLEP exams.

I needed this video so badly (and I'm definitely checking out that bookshelf!). Our rough start has been going for about a month now! I'm a mom of two teen girls, so I have all that, but then also the baby now too so I feel like a hot mess most days. Have you read Decluttering At the Speed of Life??? I LOVED that book! How do you encourage your kids to be self-starters? I am tempted to outsource more curriculum solely because I simply can't do it all, but I also can't exactly trust my girls to get a lot of their stuff done if I'm not helicopter mom. 😵💫

My husband and I are night owls so it’s painful waking up at 7am with the kids. I can’t imagine waking up even earlier. I have to try and work out while my daughter naps at 12pm and my toddler plays quietly. I can’t wait for my daughter to start waking up later like my son. She wakes up at 6:30am and I’m a zombie.

Nice video. Can you please share your bread recipe? I am so frustrated with all breads in the store having so much sugar!

@@purvisamria6007 I just use a regular recipe and swap out the sugar for coconut sugar. Super simple!

Thank you, I enjoy watching your videos. This is my first year as a homeschool mom. What do you use or have used for typing ?

My 12 year old son has been struggling with math. Ive tried memorizing multiplication. Ive tried block counting, singing lol. But he can not get it. And the crazy thing is when he was in 5th grade, multiplication and division were on point, but then he got diagnosed with diabetes and memory has been going down. Any suggestions on math???

Hey friend! That sounds really difficult. I'm not really sure how to answer, since I'm not an expert in that area. We use Teaching Textbooks. For my kids, I just had to jump ship to different curriculum to see what sticks with them. Maybe try some sample curriculum and see if he clicks with it?

Have you tried teaching textbooks? We are using it with my 12 year old son with ASD/ADHD. He is really connecting!

We loved Teaching Textbooks too! Specifically for learning multiplication, we used Times Tales. It teaches them in story form. The kids learned them in about 2 weeks. I'm really sorry to hear about his diabetes diagnosis, perhaps you'll find some herbs to help with memory boosting that may be useful to him.
